FEATHER-EDGE

Feather-edge fencing is a very strong, solid fence, despite its name. It is so called because each paling is wedge shaped and vertically overlaps the proceeding one. It is available in many heights all the way up to 2.40 metres (8 foot).

It is constructed using 100x100mm posts which are usually set in concrete approximately 600mm deep, this is dependant on fence height and soil type. It has two,three or four horizontal cross-rails of 38x100mm and the palings are 19x100mm

Post spacing can vary but is normally 2.40 metres between centres.
